Don’t say QVT anymore—say QVCT (“Quality of Life and Working Conditions”)
The law on prevention is evolving
“QVCT”: What’s Changing? Since the Occupational Health Act of March 31, 2022, companies with more than 50 employees must assess the risks to their employees in collaboration with the Social and Economic Committee (CSE), the Health and Safety Committee (CSSCT), or the occupational safety officers. Following this assessment, the law requires companies to implement an Annual Occupational Risk Prevention Program.
A new opportunity to discuss occupational health
New law = new burden for employers? On the contrary, this presents a new opportunity to focus more on health than on safety in mandatory health and safety training.
From the very beginning, providing collective, long-term training in best practices has been at the heart of Yogist’s mission:
- Effectively raise awareness among managers and their teams
- Provide training on best practices for preventing musculoskeletal disorders
- Train key personnel within your organization to foster new preventive behaviors from within
Making Remote Work Healthy
According to figures released by AG2R La Mondiale, 41% of employees were absent at least once in 2020. That’s twice as many as in 2019, despite the pandemic! Absenteeism stems from workplace dissatisfaction and places a heavy burden on business operations.
Such an initiative to improve quality of life and working conditions is not solely aimed at improving the health of your teams. Improving working conditions means taking concrete, long-term steps to enhance the company’s performance. Employees who are happier and feel valued in their work will be more productive, more creative, and take fewer days off!
The company has everything to gain from making sure that remote work—really!—is a success.
