Executive Coach and Well At Work® Facilitator: Michelle Shares Her Story

We continue our series of testimonials from the Well At Work® certification program with Michelle. Having earned her certification during the first session of our Yogist Academy, Michelle has since founded a training organization for executives, into which she has incorporated Yogist exercises. She has a few stories to share with us from her experience working under the Yogist – Well At Work® banner.

What are your goals now that you're a certified Well At Work® facilitator?

Today, my goals regarding the Yogist method are:

  • to be able to develop the Yogist method in-house, within the training organization I founded, so that I can support people who want to take a little better care of themselves;
  • to also develop the CSR aspect, which is important to me.

“My current goal is to support executives who want to take care of themselves.”

Do you have a story from a Yogist workshop to share with us?

I had a funny experience when I had some business leaders do the "upside-down dog" pose in front of their chairs, bent over… There was a lot of laughter because some people were walking down the aisle and they were worried about themselves! It was in a completely offbeat setting, and they laughed a lot. They practiced the pose and still remember it…

What kind of feedback do you get at the end of the Yogist workshops?

During one of the previous training sessions, we were running a bit short on time. I kept wondering: should I have them do an exercise or not? In the end, I decided against it. In the feedback session afterward, one participant told me they missed not having a Yogist exercise…

A few words for future members of the Academy?
