Goal: To improve workplace health through managers
International cohorts in Saint-Gobain’s Essentials of Leadership program now have the opportunity to participate in an inspiring group experience that teaches them how to lead themselves and their teams at work.
The Yogist – Well At Work® sessions, titled “Managing Yourself and Your Teams with Care,” are scheduled at the end of the second day of the program, which is designed for 50 international managers from the Group. Led by Anne-Charlotte Vuccino in a two-hour plenary session, these sessions provide a practical and impactful approach to addressing mental and physical health challenges in the workplace in the digital age.
Sample schedule:
- ENTREPRENEURSHIP, LEADERSHIP, AND RESILIENCE: An Entrepreneurial Journey and the Founding of Yogist
- TELEWORKING is taking its toll: I’m becoming aware of new sources of stress caused by the way I work, which are holding me back and putting my health at risk.
- BREATHING is the key: I’m relearning how to breathe so I can perform at my best and stay alert at work, manage my stress, and improve my sleep…
- MOVING is good for your health: I’m learning how to relieve physical tension when I only have a few minutes to spare at my desk.
- SHARE THESE TECHNIQUES for prevention and workplace well-being with my teams: I’m thinking about how to incorporate these best practices into my management style to help my teams take care of their bodies and minds throughout the workday.
Through the Well At Work® Game workshops—held in English and in small groups of 30 participants—everyone gains the tools to take charge of their health at work, discuss psychosocial risks and musculoskeletal disorders in an interactive and fun way, try out simple solutions, and establish healthy habits within their team.
Our plan for 2025
- continue to deliver presentations to the group’s European executives at their meetings throughout the year
- enhance their internal website with short videos featuring Yogist breaks that employees can try out and share with their teams
